Rainbow Club members can only reach their potential in the water with the support and encouragement of instructors, families, fundraisers and supporters. This is a big task and many individuals devote a lot of time and energy to this goal. For many, feedback and appreciation from members is its own reward but Rainbow Club Australia feels outstanding people should be recognised and promoted and has two Rainbow Club Aqua Awards

The first award is the Aqua Volunteer Award and nominations are called for Committee Members, fundraisers or anybody who has contributed in a volunteer capacity to the success of Rainbow Club at any level.

The second award is the Aqua Instructor Award and nominations are called  to recognise a Rainbow Club Instructor who has contributed above and beyond the duties and time for which they have been paid.

Nominations and Judging

  • Nominations can be made by anybody who has themselves been involved with Rainbow Club in some capacity (including children, parents, instructors, staff members, Rainbow Club Board).
  • Nominations must be submitted on-line on the Rainbow Club Aqua Awards web page.

  • The judges have the discretion to make more than one award should they see fit.
